Abstract

© 2021 Elsevier B.V.The authors regret that a detailed citation for the work of Dr. Paul Stevenson was missing from the original paper. The final paragraph of section 1 should read: “In the present work, we apply the idea of using foam risers with successive contraction and expansion, first proposed, and demonstrated by Wang, Evans and Stevenson [19] to enhance liquid drainage in a foam column used for harvesting microalgae. This work was undertaken in a column that we had previously designed for continuous harvesting of microalgae [11]. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to attempt to intensify the foam flotation harvesting of microalgae.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused
