Abstract

© 2025 Author(s). ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTS • A novel two-dimensional piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer incorporating longitudinally polarized piezoceramics is designed and fabricated. • A significant improvements in surface roughness and a reduction in edge chipping are achieved using vibration-assisted micro-milling. • A decrease in tool wear is demonstrated with vibration-assisted micro-milling compared with conventional micro-milling.
