The UK Equality Act 2010 has gaps in protecting individuals from discrimination in the context of the use of artificial intelligence as part of the decision-making process. The UK policy on artificial intelligence found in the white paper “a pro-innovation approach to AI regulation” exacerbates this problem. The UK government needs to act to address this problem.
