The work for this show consisted of a drawing produced in the format of an Ordnance Survey map, and allowed for both a formal and conceptual investigation of the two-dimensional information and conventions associated with maps, as well as the three-dimensional aspects of the map as object.

Notes: Exhibited at Taiwan National University of Arts, Taipei, ‘Paper, Table, Wall and After,’ was curated by Chris Dorsett and Sian Bowen, and is of work by 38 invited artists who, over the last four years, have contributed to the research and teaching in Paper Studio Northumbria – PSN. These include staff from Fine Art, Paper Conservation and Critical Theory; PhD candidates; Graduate and Associate Fellows; artists in residence; alumni; academic visitors; AA2A artists; and colleagues from DIT, Dublin, and Lancaster, Newcastle and Ulster Universities. These exhibitions mark the partnership between Northumbria University and Taiwan National University of Arts which was formalized last year.
